Performing in their final meet before the state competition, the St Mary Cardinal competitive cheer team finished second at the Lake Preston Invite on Monday, October 21st. The Cardinals finished with a score of 164.5 points.
Sioux Valley finished first with a score of 173.0. Elkton-Lake Benton placed third with 154.5 points. Iroquois/Lake Preston (134.5) was fourth. Faulkton Area (126.5) was fifth, and Deubrook Area (120.0) placed sixth.
The 2024 South Dakota State A Competitive Cheer event will be held on Friday, October 25th in Rapid City. St Mary will perform at approximately 7:27pm mountain time, 8:27 pm central time.
