The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal girls basketball team suffered a road loss to the Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots on Friday, December 29th. The Patriots took a big lead by the end of the first half (37-15) in a 79-50 victory.
Hills-Beaver Creek shot the ball very well. The Patriots finished the game shooting 51% (29-57) overall, 50% (9-18) on three-point attempts, and 50% (12-24) from the free-throw line. The Cardinals shot 30% (19-64) in the game, 19% (4-21) from three-point area, and 57% (8-14) from the free-throw line. The Patriots out-rebounded the Cardinals 52-18 in the game.
Addison Libis had 14 points, three rebounds, and two steals. Jenna Miller finished with eight points, three rebounds, and four steals. Maddyn LeBrun added seven points, six rebounds, and two assists. Jodie Klein also had seven points with two rebounds and three steals. Stephenie Geraets had five points and two rebounds. Sierra Klein also had five points, and Megan Geraets had four points.
