Quarrier Girls Golf 9th, Greenhoff 17th at State Golf

The Dell Rapids Quarrier girls golf team completed their 2022 season with a trip to the South Dakota State A Golf Tournament at Bakker Crossing Monday, June 6th and Tuesday, June 7th.  The Quarriers finished ninth as a team with a two-day score of 820.

Abby Greenhoff placed 17th overall to earn a medal with a two-day total of 182 (94, 88).  Jayme Schmidt finished with a 204 (102, 102).  Natalie Berg had a two-day score of 206 (111, 95).  Avery Haskell finished with a 228 (112, 116), and Emma Taubert had a 256 (128, 128).

Quarrier Track State Meet Results

The Dell Rapids Quarriers had members of the track team participate in the 2022 South Dakota High School State A Track Meet in Sioux Falls Thursday, May 26th through Saturday, May 28th.  The boys team had a total of 11 points, and the girls team had a total of five points.

Jade Anstine had a fourth place finish in the 200m dash and a sixth place finish in the 100m dash.  Gunnar Chamley placed sixth in the discus.  Kylee Fiddelke finished fourth in the 400m dash.

Quarrier Girls Golf Team Qualifies for State

The entire Dell Rapids Quarrier girls golf team qualified for the state tournament after a third place finish at the Region 1A tournament in Madison on Thursday, May 26th.

Dell Rapids finished with a team score of 409, one shot better than fourth-place Aberdeen Roncalli (410).  Madison placed first with a 381, and Sioux Valley was second with a 397.

Two Quarrier golfers finished in the top 10.  Jayme Schmidt finished sixth with a round of 93.  Abby Greenhoff was seventh with a round of 94.  Natalie Berg placed 15th individually with a round of 102.  Avery Haskel had a round of 120, and Emma Taubert finished with a 147.

The State A Tournament will be held at Bakker Crossing in Sioux Falls on Monday, June 6th and Tuesday, June 7th.

Dell Rapids Finishes Ninth at Girls Dak-12 Golf Tournament

The Dell Rapids Quarrier girls golf team finished ninth at the Dak-12 Conference Tournament at Bakker Crossing in Sioux Falls on Monday, May 23rd.  Dell Rapids finished with a team score of 426.  Sioux Falls Christian took first place with a score of 338.  Vermillion was second, followed by Canton.

Abby Greenhoff finished 18th individually with a round of 97.  Jayme Schmidt had finished with a round of 99.  Avery Haskell had a 104.  Natalie Berg had a round of 126, and Emma Taubert had a round of 140.

The Quarriers will be in Madison for the Region 1A Tournament on Thursday, May 26th.

Quarrier Girls Golf 3rd in Sisseton

The Dell Rapids Quarrier girls golf team placed third at the Sisseton Invite on Thursday, May 19th.  Dell Rapids finished with a team score of 426.  Madison was first with a team score of 396, and Aberdeen Roncalli was second at 410. 

Abby Greenhoff had a top 10 finish individually, placing seventh with a round of 99.  Jayme Schmidt had a round of 102.  Emma Taubert finished with 109.  Avery Haskell had a round of 116.  Natalie Berg finished at 118, and Haley Rydell had a 124.

The Quarriers will be at the Dak-12 Conference Tournament at Bakker Crossing in Sioux Falls on Monday, May 23rd.

Quarrier Track Competes in Region 3A Meet, Girls 4th and Boys 5th

The Dell Rapids Quarrier track team was in Lennox for the Region 3A track meet on Thursday, May 19th.  The girls team finished tied for fourth with 61 points.  The boys team finished fifth with a total of 47 points.

Adisen Stadem finished second in the 3200m run.  The 4x200m relay team of Kylee Fiddelke, Sophia Godwin, Madysen VanOverbeke, and Kennedy Krull placed third.  The 4x400m relay team of Elly Olson, Krull, Clara Justice, and Fiddelke also placed third.  The 4x800m relay team of Stadem, Jenna Miller, Madyn Lacey, and Elizabeth Price was also third.  Jusice finished fourth in both the 100m hurdles and 300m hurdles.  Fiddelke finished fourth in the 100m dash.

Gunnar Chamley took the top spot in the discus.  The sprint medley relay team of Jade Anstine, Ian Mason, Chase Jones and John Mortrude had a second place finish.  Braden Fersdahl finished third in the triple jump.  Anstine was fourth in the 100m dash.  The 4x400m relay team of Mortrude, Jones, Camden Justice, and Grady Lamer also finished fourth.

Quarrier Girls Golf Places 9th in Vermillion

The Dell Rapids Quarrier girls golf team traveled to Vermillion for the Vermillion Invite on Monday, May 16th.  Dell Rapids finished ninth as a team with a score of 404.

Abby Greenhoff had a 14th place finish with a round of 91.  Jayme Schmidt finished with a round of 101.  Emma Taubert had a 105.  Avery Haskell finished at 107, and Natalie Berg had a 117.

Dell Rapids will be in Sisseton on Thursday, May 19th.

Boys 9th, Girls 10th for Quarrier Track at Dak-12 Meet

The Dell Rapids Quarrier track teams participated in the Dak-12 Conference meet on Monday, May 16th.  The boys team finished ninth with a total of 34 points.  The girls team finished 10th with 33 points.

Kylee Fiddelke had a third place finish in the 400m dash.  Rileigh Foster placed third in the javelin.  The 4x400m relay team of Elly Olson, Clara Justice, Madysen VanOverbeke, and Fiddelke had a fourth place finish.  The sprint medley relay team of Fiddelke, Sophia Godwin, Kennedy Krull, and Elizabeth Price finished fifth.

Gunnar Chamley took the conference title in the discus.  Jade Anstine placed fourth in the 200m dash and fifth in the 100m dash.  The 4x200m relay team of Ian Mason, Owen Nelson, Chase Jones, and Anstine also had a fifth place finish.

The Dell Rapids Quarrier girls golf team placed third at the Madison Invite on Thursday, May 12th.  The Quarriers finished with a team score of 411.  Sioux Valley won with a score of 388.  Madison was second at 389.

Abby Greenhoff tied for fourth individually with a round of 92.  Emma Taubert tied for 15th at 98.  Jayme Schmidt finished with a round of 108.  Avery Haskell had a 113.  Natalie Berg finished with 116, and Haley Rydell had a 128.

The Dell Rapids Quarrier girls golf team finished ninth at the West Central Invite at Central Valley Golf Course on Monday, May 9th.  The Quarriers finished with a team score of 419.

Jayme Schmidt finished with a round of 98.  Abby Greenhoff had a round of 100.  Natalie Berg had a 110.  Avery Haskell had round of 111.  Emma Taubert ended the day with a 116, and Brynlee Kriens had a 137.

The Quarriers will be at the Madison Invitational on Thursday, May 12th.
