The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal volleyball team hosted the Deubrook Area Dolphins on Monday, October 1st. The Dolphins handed the Cardinals a straight set loss by scores of 25-21, 25-7, 25-15.
Veronica Beck had a team high seven kills Maddie Schwebach and Ella Heinitz both finished with four kills. Cassie Mullaney and Tyra Harrington both had three kills. Paige Bunkers tallied two kills. Mullaney had two blocks, while Beck and Schwebach both had one block. Carly Maxwell led the back row defense with 15 digs. Macie Brown had nine digs. Addy Gilbert finished with five digs.
St Mary (7-8) will travel to Garretson on Tuesday, October 2nd for their second match in as many nights.
