The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal volleyball team won their second match in a row as they defeated the Castlewood Warriors in four sets Tuesday, September 6th, in Dell Rapids. The Cardinals won 25-21, 25-18, 22-25, 25-23. Danielle Fiegen had 12 kills on the night, Lexie LeBrun had 10 kills and Mikayla Brown added seven. Tori Michel led the team with 14 assists, while Abby Siemonsma had 11. LeBrun also had a good night defensively with 11 digs and one block. Fiegen and Brown each had nine digs. Kelly Michel had five digs and five blocks. LeBrun was also a force serving adding six aces throughout the night. T. Michel and Fiegen each had four aces.
The win moves the Cardinal record to 3-5 on the year. Dell Rapids St Mary will host Marion on Monday, September 10th.

MiKayla Brown and Lexie LeBrun each had nine kills for the Cardinals. Tori Michel had 18 assists on the night. LeBrun had 14 digs on the night defensively, Danielle Fiegen had 10 and Brown had seven. Fiegen led the team with four aces while LeBrun, Kelly Michel, Anna Maxwell and Rachel Scholten all had three aces apiece.
