The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal volleyball team’s season game to an end in the second round of the Region 4B Tournament on Tuesday, October 31st, in Madison. The Cardinals lost in straight sets to the #1 seed Chester Flyers by scores of 25-6, 25-13, 25-15.
Cassie Mullaney led the team on the offensive end with four kills in the match. Veronica Beck had three kills, while Cassy Geraets, Rhiannon Glazier, and Maddie Schwebach all had two kills each. Glazier also finished with two ace serves and a dig. Adyn Heinricy had nine digs. Mullaney and Schwebach each had a block at the net. Geraets had 14 set assists for St Mary.
The Cardinals finish their season with a record of 11-19.
