The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal cross country team ran in the De Smet Invitational at the De Smet Golf Course on Thursday, September 7th.
The boys team finished fourth with a total score of 60. Sioux Valley won the boys title with 15 points. Great Plains Lutheran was second with 32 points, and Oldham-Ramona/Rutland was third with 41 points. The St Mary girls did not have a team score as only they only had one varsity runner. Deubrook Area won the girls title with 19 points.
The Cardinal runners will be at the Freeman Invite on Wednesday, September 13th, for their next meet.
