The Dell Rapids Quarriers boys golf team played at the West Central Invitational on Monday, August 19th. In a field of 17 teams and 92 golfers, Dell Rapids finished in 2nd place and had three golfers in the top 10. Zach Schroeder shot an 89 in the meet and finished 8th. Devon Weber finished with an 81 for 9th place, and Ty Hoglund also shot an 81 for 10th place. Adam Karst finished in a tie for 18th place with a round of 84, while Mason Schmidt (90) finished in 37th place with a 90, and Josh Parrott (100) finished in 65th place. The Quarriers team score of 325 was second only to Parkston which shot nine strokes better.
The boys golf team will play in the Dakota Valley Invitational at Two Rivers Golf Course on Thursday, August 22nd, and then will host the Dell Rapids Invitational at Rocky Run Golf Course on Monday, August 26th.
