The Baltic high school club baseball team kept their winning streak alive with a 3-1 win over Sioux Falls Christian on Wednesday, May 17th.
Baltic scored all three of their runs in the first three innings. Jose Valadez had an RBI single, and Riley Schultz drew a bases-loaded walk for a 2-0 lead. Gunner Schultz scored on a wild pitch in the top of the third to push the lead to 3-0. Sioux Falls Christian scored their lone run in the bottom of the fourth.
Beau Keith had two hits in the game for Baltic. Valadez had a hit and an RBI. Tayden Hansen, G. Schultz, Beau Breace, and Matt Muston all had one hit each. R. Schultz finished with an RBI. Hansen pitched all seven innings allowing one earned run on six hits and two walks with six strikeouts.
