The Baltic Bulldog football team suffered a road loss to the Hamlin Chargers on Friday, September 4th. The Chargers scored the first 36 points on their way to a 43-6 victory.
Hamlin scored two times in the opening quarter. They had a 12-yard touchdown pass and a seven-yard touchdown run. The Chargers converted one two-point conversion and one extra point to lead 15-0. They added two more scores in the second quarter. The first touchdown was on a five-yard run. The second touchdown was a 21-yard run. Two more made extra points extended the lead to 29-0 by halftime.
The Chargers scored again early in the third quarter on a 74-yard touchdown pass. The extra point made the score 36-0. Baltic got on the board seconds later. Elias Oakley had a 95-yard kick-off return for a touchdown. The two-point conversion was no good to keep the score 36-6. Hamlin’s final touchdown came in the fourth quarter on a 27-yard touchdown run.
The Bulldogs will have their bye week on Friday, September 11th.
