The Baltic Bulldog volleyball team cruised to a straight-set win on the road over the Beresford Watchdogs on Tuesday, September 1st. The Bulldogs won by scores of 25-10, 25-18, and 25-16.
Baltic started the match off hot. They jumped out to a quick 9-1 lead in the opening set and never looked back. The Bulldogs pushed their lead to 19-5 before finishing with the 25-10 win.
They kept the momentum going to start the second set with a 4-1 run. Baltic extended that lead to 16-8. They continued to lead by eight at 21-13, but the Watchdogs went on a 3-0 run to make the score 21-16. The Bulldogs closed out the set with a 4-2 run for a 25-18 win.
The third set started similarly as the first two. The Bulldogs got off to a quick 6-1 start. Beresford was within four points a couple of times in the third set at 11-7 and 16-12. Baltic then went on a 4-0 run to extend their lead to 20-12 before winning the match 25-16.
