The Baltic Bulldog volleyball team hosted the Garretson Blue Dragons in volleyball action on Thursday, September 3rd. The Bulldogs won the match in straight sets by scores of 25-17, 25-20, and 25-16.
Baltic started the first set with a quick 5-1 run and stayed in front the whole set. The Bulldogs extended their lead to nine points, 13-4. They continued to lead by scores of 16-8 and 20-12 before winning 25-17. Garretson kept the second set close. After Baltic took a 9-4 lead, the Blue Dragons got within two points at 15-13. Baltic extended their lead back to five points, 22-17, but Garretson rallied again and got within two, 22-20. Baltic ended the set on a 3-0 run for the 25-20 win.
After a 3-3 tie to start the third set, the Bulldogs went on a 4-0 run to grab a 7-3 advantage. That lead grew to six points, 11-5. Garretson got within three points at 13-10. The Bulldogs went ahead 20-16 and then scored the final five points to take the win, 25-16.
