Bulldogs Keep Winning Streak Going with Win to End Regular Season

The Baltic Bulldog volleyball team kept their winning streak alive after a straight-set win to end the regular season on Tuesday, October 29th.  Baltic traveled to Deubrook High School and defeated the Dolphins by scores of 25-17, 25-20, and 25-9.

The Bulldogs raced to a 6-1 lead to start the first set.  Deubrook got within two points, 8-6, but Baltic went on a 5-2 run to extend the lead to 13-8.  The Dolphins stayed within four points at scores of 16-12, 18-14, and 20-16.  The Bulldogs would end the first set on a 5-1 run for a 25-17 win.

Baltic started the second set with a 4-0 run.  Deubrook battled to get within two points, 9-7, but Baltic again pushed the lead to 13-8.  The Bulldogs led by six, 20-14, but the Dolphins cut the lead in half at 22-19.  Baltic ended the rally with a 3-1 run to finish the second set with a 25-20 win.

After an early 3-3 tie to start the third set, Baltic took control of the set.  They went ahead 10-5 and cruised from there.  The Bulldogs extended their lead to 13-6, then 17-8 and 22-9.  They finished the match with a 25-9 victory.
