Winning Streak Continues for Baltic Volleyball

The winning streak for the Baltic Bulldogs volleyball team continued with a win in Canton on Monday, October 28th.  The Bulldogs won in four sets by scores of 21-25, 25-15, 25-16, and 26-24.

The first set started with a 2-2 tie.  The C-Hawks went on a 6-2 run to take an 8-4 lead.  The Bulldogs got back within a point, 10-9, but Canton responded with a 6-0 run to extend the lead to 16-9.  The Bulldogs rallied again and tied the score 18-18.  The C-Hawks went in front 21-20 and then finished the set with a 4-1 run for a 25-21 win.

The Bulldogs started the second set with a 4-3 lead.  They then went on a 7-2 run to extend the lead to 11-5.  Baltic continued to ride the momentum and pushed the lead to 21-10.  They would win the second set 25-15.  The Bulldogs continued their run into the third set.  They went on a 5-0 run to start the set.  Baltic were leading 11-5 before Canton went on a 7-2 run to pull within a point, 13-12.  The Bulldogs responded with a 9-1 run for a 22-13 lead.  Both teams scored three points each as Baltic won 25-16.

The Bulldogs opened the fourth set with an early lead of 3-1.  They would extend the lead to 11-4 and then to 17-9.  Canton would rally, however.  The C-Hawks went on a 12-4 run to tie the score 21-21.  The score was tied again 23-23 and 24-24.  The Bulldogs scored the final two points for the 26-24 win.
