Elk Point-Jefferson Takes Win over Baltic Football

The Baltic Bulldog football team hosted the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies on Friday, September 20th.  The Huskies took the win by a score of 46-14.

Elk Point-Jefferson got two scores in the first quarter.  They had two rushing touchdowns, one of 20 yards and the other for eight yards.  Neither conversion attempt was made, and the Huskies led 12-0.  They added three more scores in the second quarter.  With 10:35 to play in the half, they scored on a 75-yard touchdown run.  Elk Point-Jefferson would get a 12-yard touchdown pass with 8:30 left in the half, and then with 1:30 remaining, they got a two-yard touchdown run.  One two-point conversion was made in the quarter to give the Huskies a 32-0 lead at halftime.

Elk Point-Jefferson scored again within the first two minutes of the second half.  With 10:02 to play in the third quarter, they had a 34-yard touchdown run.  The Huskies final score would be with 4:39 to play in the third quarter on an eight-yard run.  Both extra points were made for a 46-0 lead.

Dylan Runestad got a 48-yard touchdown run with :47 remaining in the third quarter.  Ryder Siemonsma scored the two-point conversion to make the score 46-8.  The final score of the game came with 8:17 left to play.  Gavin Skotvold had a 15-yard touchdown pass to Ben Erickson.
