Bulldog Volleyball Wins Home Match Against Flandreau

Playing in their first home match in two weeks, the Baltic Bulldogs defeated the Flandreau Fliers on Thursday, September 19th in straight sets.  The Bulldogs won by scores of 25-21, 25-12, and 25-9.

Baltic opened the match with a 3-2 lead, but Flandreau tied the score 7-7.  The Bulldogs led 11-10 and then went on a 5-2 run for a 16-11 lead.  The Fliers cut the lead to 23-20, but the Bulldogs took the win 25-21.  The second set started with a 4-4 tie.  Flandreau took a 7-5 lead, but Baltic then went on a run.  They scored three straight for an 8-7 lead.  They then went on an 8-3 run to extend the lead to 16-10 and then finished the sent on a 9-2 run for a 25-12 lead.

The momentum carried into the third set.  Even though Flandreau started with a 2-1 lead, Baltic went on a 7-3 run for an 8-5 lead.  They extended the lead to 14-7 before finishing the match on an 11-2 run for the 25-9 victory.
