One night after falling to the #1 team in Class A, the Baltic Bulldogs bounced back with a win at West Central on Tuesday, September 17th. The Bulldogs won in straight sets by scores of 25-9, 25-17, and 25-16.
Baltic started the match with a 5-2 run and then followed that with a 5-0 run for a 10-2 lead. The lead grew to 16-4 then 22-9. The Bulldogs scored the final three points for the 25-10 win. The second set started with a 5-5 tie. West Central took a 7-6 lead, but Batic responded with a 4-0 run for a 10-7 lead. They extended that lead to 20-13. The Trojans cut the lead to 21-15, but Baltic won the set 25-17. Baltic built an early 3-0 lead and continued to hold an 8-6 advantage. West Central cut the lead to 9-8, but that was as close as they could get. The Bulldogs slowly extended the lead to 22-15 before winning 25-16.
