The Baltic high school baseball team was held to just two hits in a 13-0 loss to Sioux Falls Christian on Thursday, May 2nd.
Neither team scored in the first inning, but Sioux Falls Christian scored in every inning afterwards. They had a two-run second inning and a six-run third. Another run was scored in the fourth inning, and then Sioux Falls Christian had a four-run fifth inning.
Jackson Goehring and Riiker Rogers each had a single for the only two hits for Baltic. Braxton Allen pitched 2 1/3 innings and allowed four earned runs on four hits and three walks. Tate Feucht pitched two innings and allowed five earned runs on just one hit with eight walks and two strikeouts. Beau Breece threw 2/3 of an inning allowing four earned runs on three hits and two walks with one strikeout.
