The Baltic Legion team was held scoreless against Dell Rapids in their first game of region play on Monday, July 17th. Dell Rapids handed Baltic an 8-0 setback in the tournament.
Dell Rapids scored five runs in the bottom of the first inning for a quick 5-0 lead. They added two more in the bottom of the third and one more in the fourth. Baltic was held to just four hits in the game.
Gunner Schultz had two of the four hits. Beau Keith and Hunter Larson each had one hit. Riley Schultz pitched five innings and allowed eight runs, five earned, on five hits and five walks with five strikeouts. Larson pitched one inning without allowing a hit or run.
