Baltic’s First Quarter Run Too Much for Cub Boys

The Baltic Bulldogs used a big first quarter run in a 62-51 win over the Alcester-Hudson Cubs (5-13) on Thursday, February 9th.

The game was tied 4-4 with 4:17 to play in the opening quarter.  Baltic then went on a 25-4 run and ended the quarter leading 29-8.  That run was enough to keep them in front the rest of the game.  The Bulldogs led 39-17 at halftime and 54-31 heading into the final quarter.  The Cubs were able to hold Baltic to just eight points in the final quarter, but the gap was too much for them to overcome.

Ethan Bovill finished with 20 points and three steals.  Dominic Van Egdom added 10 points and 12 rebounds.  Jose Topete-Lopez added eight points and three rebounds.
