The Dell Rapids Quarrier track team participated in the Brace Hopfinger track meet held Sioux Valley High School on Tuesday, April 9th.
The Quarrier girls team won the team title with 67 points. Hamlin finished second with 59.5 points, and Deubrook Area was third with 51 points. The Quarrier boys team placed second with 55 points. Madison won the boys team title with 62.5 points, while Webster Area placed third with 52 points.
Kyra Graham had a state-qualifying leap in the high jump with a first-place jump of 4’10”.
The track meet to be held at Flandreau on Saturday, April 13th has been cancelled. Dell Rapids is next scheduled to be Beresford on Tuesday, April 16th.
