Playing their second match in as many nights, the Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinals fell to the Garretson Blue Dragons in straight sets on Tuesday, October 2nd in Garretson. The Blue Dragons won by scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-21.
Maddie Schwebach led the offensive attack with six kills in the match. Cassie Mullaney had four kills, and Veronica Beck added three kills. Ella Heinitz finished with 40 set assists, while Paige Bunkers had 24 set assists. Carly Maxwell led the back row defense with 12 digs. Macie Brown had 10 digs, and Mullaney had seven digs. Mullaney also had two blocks. Bunkers led the team with two ace serves.
St Mary (7-9) will look to rebound against Arlington on Thursday, October 4th. The match will be in Arlington.
