The Elkton-Lake Benton Elks won their ninth match out of their last ten after defeating the Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinals in straight sets on Thursday, September 29th, at Dell Rapids St Mary High School. Elkton-Lake Benton won by scores of 25-9, 25-17, 25-13.
Maddie Schwebach and Cassie Mullaney both had three kills in the match. Rhiannon Glazier and Veronica Beck both had two kills. Adyn Heinricy had three digs. Carly Maxwell finished with two digs. Mullaney and Beck were both credited with a block. Ella Heinitz had 11 set assists. The Elks were led by Hannah Krog with 18 kills, Karlie Christensen with 10 digs, and Callie Otkin with 40 set assists.
St Mary falls to 7-12 on the year. The Cardinals will host Freeman on Monday, October 2nd.
