The Lake Preston Divers defeated the Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinals in straight sets on Thursday, September 7th, at Dell Rapids St Mary High School. The Divers won by scores of 25-5, 25-16, 25-19.
Veronica Beck led the offense in kills with four in the match. Cassie Mullaney, Rhiannon Glazier, and Maddie Schwebach all had two kills each. Schwebach had four blocks at the net for the Cardinals. Cassy Geraets added two blocks. Geraets also finished the night with 11 set assists and five digs. Adyn Heinricy led the team in digs with 15.
The Cardinals (4-5) are back in action on Tuesday, September 12th, when they travel to the Flandreau Indian School.
