The Dell Rapids Quarrier volleyball team defeated the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies on Tuesday, August 29th, in Elk Point. The Quarriers won by scores of 25-23, 25-23, 24-26, 26-24.
Jayda Knuppe led the team with 10 kills in the match. Trinity Gordon finished with nine kills, and Hannah Fletcher and Maria Jackson both had seven kills each. Brooke Klein had 31 digs on the night. Gordon finished with 26 digs, Fletcher added 16 digs, and Jackson had 13 digs. Klein, Gordon, and Jackson all had three ace serves in the match. Fletcher finished with a game-high 32 set assists.
The Quarriers (4-2) are on a break for the next week and will resume play in Tea against the Tea Area Titans on Thursday, September 7th.
