The Freeman Academy/Marion Bearcats defeated the Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinals in straight sets by scores of 25-13, 25-11, 25-20, on Tuesday, October 18th, at Dell Rapids St Mary High School. It was the final home match of the regular season for the Cardinals in which they honored the seniors Haley Michel, Kennedi Mullaney, and Jackie Wolles.
The Cardinals had a lead early in each of the games and also lead 18-9 in the final game before Freeman Academy/Marion made their run to win in straight sets.
The loss drops the Cardinals to 2-25 on the season. St Mary will wrap up the regular season at De Smet on Monday, October 24th.
