Monday, October 3rd, was the first day of the 2016 State A Golf Tournament at Hart Ranch in Rapid City. Three Dell Rapids golfers are participating in the state tournament. Mason Schmidt had an opening round of 87 (+15) and is currently tied for 32nd. Jordan Kerns had a first round of 93 (+21) and is tied for 59th. Karsen Welbig finished his first day with a round of 104 (+32) and is tied for 87th.
The final round will be held Tuesday, October 4th.
