The Canistota Hawks defeated the Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal volleyball team in straight games by scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-18 on Thursday, September 15th, at Dell Rapids St Mary High School.
The Cardinals finished the night with 19 team kills, 31 digs, five aces, and seven blocks. Cassie Mullaney had six kills. Rhiannon Glazier, Maddie Schwebach, and Kennedi Mullaney each had four kills. Haley Michel finished with 10 digs on the night. Glazier had seven, and Cassy Geraets had five digs. Glaizer also had three aces. Jackie Wolles tallied three blocks. Schweback, C. Mullaney, and K. Mullaney all had two blocks each.
St Mary falls to 2-9 on the season. The Cardinals will host Colman-Egan on Thursday, September 22nd.
Canistota also won the JV match two games to one.
