The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal boys and girls cross country teams opened up their 2016 seasons with the Deubrook Invite held in White on Saturday, August 27th.
The varsity girls team took home first place for the second year in a row. The varsity boys team placed fourth.
Christina Vogel finished second individually. Ella Heinitz placed fourth, and Katie Vogel placed 17th. Connor Libis finished second individually. Jacob Vogel placed seventh, Drew Wood was 32nd, and Jason Cook finished 37th in the run.
The Cardinals will travel to Salem for the McCook Invite on Tuesday, August 30th.
