The Dell Rapids boys golf team began their 2016 season in Hartford at the West Central Early Bird Invitational on Monday, August 15th. Dell Rapids finished 10th as a team with a team score of 365. Sioux Falls Christian finished first with a team score of 333. Canton was second with 338, and Dakota Valley finished third with a team score of 351.
Jordan Kerns finished eighth individually with a round of 82. Mason Schmidt also had a round of 82 and finished ninth. Sheldon Siemonsma had a round of 99 for Dell Rapids. Zach McKee finished with a 102, Karsen Welbig at 106, and Jack Weber had a 118.
The Quarriers will be at Dakota Valley on Wednesday, August 17th.
