The Region 2B Legion baseball tournament will start on Tuesday, July 12th, in Volga. Dell Rapids will play in the opening game against Tea at 3:00 p.m. The second game of the opening day will feature Garretson against Volga at 5:30 p.m.. The third game of the day will see Madison facing the winner of the Dell Rapids/Tea game at 8:00 p.m.
The tournament continues on Wednesday, July 13th at 5:00 p.m. with the first elimination game. The winner’s bracket semifinal game will be held at 7:30 p.m on Wednesday. After a break on Thursday, play resumes with two more games on Friday, July 15th. The first game will be at 5:00 p.m. with the winner of game four playing the loser of game three. The second game of the night at 7:30 p.m. will have the winner of game six play the loser of game five.
The championship game is scheduled for Saturday, July 16h, at 7:30 p.m. at 5:00 p.m., with a second game scheduled at 7:30 p.m. if necessary.
