The Dell Rapids Quarrier boys golf team opened their 2015 season in Milbank at the Poet Invitational on Monday, August 17th. Dell Rapids finished 8th as a team with a score of 352. Parkston finished first with a team score of 318. Madison was second with 337, and Sisseton finished 3rd with a round of 340.
Ty Hoglund finished 6th individually with a round of 81. Josh Parrot finished with an 84 to place 18th. Mason Schmidt finished with a 90, Brent Eddy fired a 97, Jordan Kerns had a 98, and Jace Blair ended with a 102.
This was the first of three events for Dell Rapids in Milbank. Dell Rapids will travel to Milbank at the end of the year for Regions and State.
The Quarriers will play in the Dells Invite on Monday, August 24th, for their next tournament.
