The Dell Rapids Quarrier boys golf team finished second at the Parkston Invitational on Monday, September 8th, finishing three strokes behind the Mitchell Kernals. Dell Rapids, however, was the highest placing class A team at the tournament. Mitchell finished with a team score of 312, Dell Rapids with a 315, and Parkston finished third with 318.
Deven Weber placed third in the event with a round of 74. Adam Karst was one shot behind with a 75 and placed fourth. Ty Hoglund finished seventh with a round of 79. Mason Schmidt finished the day with an 87, Josh Parrott shot a 92, and Jordan Kerns fired a 93.
The Quarriers will travel to Vermillion for the Vermillion Invite on Thursday, September 11th.
