The Dell Rapids Quarriers girls and boys cross country team was in Garretson on Tuesday, September 9th. The varsity girls team finished 9th at the event, while the JV girls placed 2nd. The varsity boys team finished 7th and the JV boys finished 9th.
Top finishers for the Quarriers were Shaylee Hoff and Averi Pankonen. Aspen Hansen finished 2nd in the JV race, with Shaina Visser 13th, Katie Jaycox 20th, Lindsey Morris 24th, and Amanda Tomes 35th. Top runners for the boys were Trent Knuppe who placed 18th, and Zane Schumaker who placed 20th. Derek Ahlers finished 15th in the JV race and James Lueders finished 34th.
The cross country team will travel to Milbank on Saturday, September 13th.
