The first round of the 15-16 VFW Region baseball tournament begins today. The tournament will finish on Friday, August 3rd. Dell Rapids and Madison will play host to the tournament. Dell Rapids will play Volga in their first round game at 8:00 tonight. Harrisburg will take on Garretson at 6:00 tonight in Dell Rapids. In Madison, Humboldt 15s will take on Humboldt 16s at 6:00, and Madison 15s against Madison 16s at 8:00 tonight.
The top two teams will earn a spot in the State “A” VFW Baseball Tournament in Tabor August 10th – 12th.
