Gerald “Jerry” B. O’Brien, 74, died on April 26, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, May 1, at George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls. The family will be present for visitation from 2 – 4 PM on Sunday. On-line condolences may be left at George Boom Funeral Home.

Grateful for having shared his life are his 4 children: Brian (Stacey) O’Brien, Chandler, AZ, Dawn Anderson, Sykesville, MD, Troy O’Brien, Sioux Falls, SD and Jodi (Joseph) Tiede, Sioux Falls, SD : 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings: Robert (Peggy) O’Brien, Dell Rapids, SD, Lois Zimmer, Sioux Falls, SD, Donald (Ann) O’Brien, Warner Robins, GA; and Vernie (Ron) Feldhaus, Bloomington, MN; loving canine companion, Blue; host of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert “Red” and Cecilia O’Brien.
