The Mother’s Healing Garden, located at the north end of the Dell Rapids Cemetery, as been awarded the 2016 Hometown Hero award from Modern Woodmen Camp 15262.  The garden has been a place that has welcomed those that are grieving or simply want a quiet space.  A presentation will be held on Sunday, September 25th, during the Day of Remembrance event.

The event will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.  It’s a special time to remember those that have been lost.  Dr. Rebecca Watson-Miller will give a message, music will be performed by Carol Baum, and refreshments will be provided by Modern Woodmen.
