They lived on the family farm near Dell Rapids, where Edna grew up, until 1972 when she and Ted retired and moved to their home in Dell Rapids. Edna was a lifetime member of Saint Mary Parish. She was one of the nine proud members of St. Mary High School Class of 1934. Edna was an active member of the altar society and the Dell Rapids Auxiliary. For many years she enjoyed selling “Avon” and being a member of the Red Hat Society as well as hosting many a card party. Cooking was also one of her pleasurers. Her cinnamon rolls were unsurpassed and still have her children wondering how she made them.

She loved her family, her church, and her many friends. She is preceded in death by parents, nine brothers and sisters, her husband, Ted; her son, Louie and his wife, Betty; her daughter, Nancy and her husband, Rex; her son-in-law, Chuck Monner and granddaughter, Allie Thanig.

She is survived by her son, Conrad “Brick” (Martha) Wall of Tucson, AZ; her daughter, Sonja Monner of Somerset, WI; her five grandchildren, Shannon Wall Calden, Ellen Wall Tucker, Ted Wall, Sarah Monner Thanig and Kate Monner Waskul and nine great grandchildren.
