Doreen Johnson-Weixel, 53, died Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at her residence in Sioux Falls, SD.

A visitation will begin at 2:00 pm Friday, October 25, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home, 507 S. Main Ave., with the family present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be 10:00 am Saturday, October 26, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home with burial in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Eureka, SD.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Richard Weixel of Sioux Falls; her brother, Ralph Johnson III and his wife, Karol, of Dell Rapids, SD; a nephew, Elijah Johnson of Dell Rapids; her father, Ralph Johnson Jr. of Sioux Falls; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hilma May Johnson and Ralph Johnson Sr.

The family has requested that memorials be directed to the Sioux Falls Humane Society or the veteran’s organization of your choice.
