Helen Aker Halverson

Helen HalversonHelen Aker Halverson, age 88, died at Bethel Lutheran Home on April 9, 2015.

She is survived by her husband – Eugene of Madison, four daughters – Lee Ann (Gary) Stofferahn of DeSmet, SD, Cheri (Mark) Mergen of Dell Rapids, Tammy Selgestad of Madison and Barb (Chris) Mergen of Dell Rapids, 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, her twin brother – Harold (Corrine) Barkley of Minneapolis, MN. Four step sons – Mike (Laine) Halverson of Sioux Falls, Jim (RoseAnne) Halverson of San Diego, CA, Bob Halverson of Madison and Tom (Sandra) Halverson of Orlando, FL. One step daughter – Anne (Mike) Hurst of Benecia, CA. 8 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 13, 2015 at St John Lutheran Church with Rev Elizabeth Pagnotta officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.The family will be present on Sunday at 5:00 PM at Weiland Funeral Chapel which is in charge of the arrangements.
