Dell Rapids held many different programs and services throughout the day for Memorial Day. Logan Reformed Cemetery held a service at 8:00 a.m. Stordahl Cemetery then had a service at 8:40 a.m. followed by a service at Willow Creek Cemetery at 9:00 a.m.
Hundreds of people gathered on 4th St in Dell Rapids for the Memorial Day Parade at 10:00 a.m. Ceremonies followed the parade at Dell Rapids City Park at 10:30 a.m. with a service then at 11:00 a.m. at the Dell Rapids Cemetery. 
There was a short program held at Veterans Memorial Park at 11:30 a.m. Dells Nursing and Rehab Center and Orchard Hills both held ceremonies at 12:45 p.m.
Post 65 held a brat feed from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall.
