Margie J. Pray, 62, passed away Friday, July 12, 2013 at Sanford USD Medical Center, Sioux Falls, SD. Margie was born June 16, 1951 in Sioux Falls, SD Walter and Elsie (Nelson) Widman. She received her education in Sioux Falls and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1969. She worked for Metz Bakery in Sioux Falls for many years. In 1988 Margie moved to Flandreau and worked for Royal River Casino. She married Douglas Pray on August 26, 1995 and continued to work at RRC for eighteen years. Margie worked at Wal-Mart in Brookings for four years, beginning in 2009. She was a member of the Jessie James Saddle Club, 4-H Club and Bold Heart.
Margie is survived by her husband Douglas, Flandreau, four daughters, Dawn (Tony) Halverson, De Smet, SD, Kristine (Jay) Nelson, Sioux Falls, Natalie Pray, Sioux Falls, Jacquelin (Lyle) Bothe, Aurora, SD, twelve grandchildren, Mason, Jessica, Kassidi, Anthony, Skyla, Daquirri, Wyatt, Korrine and Zane, Jasmine, Nathan, Lyla, two sisters: Mary Ann (John) McGuire, Dell Rapids, Millie, Georgia, one brother Marvin Widman, Mitchell, and her second mother Bonnie Hanson, Sioux Falls. Margie was preceded in death by her parents, a second father Stan, and three brothers, Buzzy, Ronald and Dewayne and a sister, Irene.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Second Presbyterian Church, Flandreau, with burial in Union Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-7 pm Wednesday at Skroch Funeral Chapel. http://www.skrochfc.com/
