LaRita Kay Tebbe, 64, died on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 AM on Monday, December 10, 2012 at St. Lambert Catholic Church in Sioux Falls, with burial at St. Michael Cemetery in Sioux Falls. Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM on Sunday at George Boom Funeral Home, Sioux Falls, www.georgeboom.com, with a Liturgical Prayer Service followed by the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM.
LaRita Kay Bagley was born on December 17, 1947 in Madison, SD to Price and Mable (Corey) Bagley. She received her education in Madison graduating high school in 1967. She then furthered her education at General Beadle State Teachers College in Madison.
On June 23, 1973 LaRita was united in marriage with Lyle Tebbe at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dell Rapids, SD. The couple made their home in Sioux Falls. LaRita spent 25 years working for the Catholic Diocese of Eastern South Dakota; retiring in 2009. She had a deep love of her Catholic faith and served as a mentor to many seminarians.
LaRita enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, and craft designs. She was an avid reader; especially Agatha Christy novels. She was a loving daughter, wife, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who will be dearly missed.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Lyle, Sioux Falls; brother, Robert (Jeany) Bagley, Arco, MN; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Merlin (Clarice) Tebbe, Colton, SD, Evelyn Tebbe, Las Vegas, NV, Arlene Zimmer, Sioux Falls, Rosetta (Don) Geraets, Mason City, IA, Carol Tebbe, Fircrest, WA, Dianne (Robert) Levey, Las Vegas, NV and Mary (Steve) Ehnis, Phoenix, AZ; 31 nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jim and Connie Seiler, Sioux Falls.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Price and Mable Bagley; brother, Dearld Bagley; and brother-in-law, David Zimmer.
