The De Smet Bulldog boys basketball team cruised to a big win over the Arlington Cardinals on Friday, January 5th. The Bulldogs won 73-17 for their fourth win in a row.
De Smet held Arlington to single digit scoring in each of the fourth quarters. The lead at the end of the first quarter was 24-5. The Bulldogs extended the lead to 52-12 at halftime. De Smet outscored Arlington 21-5 in the second half of the game.
Ten different players scored in the game. Kadyn Fast had 16 points and nine rebounds. Tom Aughenbaugh finished with 15 points, four rebounds, and five assists. George Jensen also had 15 points with four rebounds and three steals. Grant Wilkinson had nine points and eight rebounds. Trace Van Regenmorter ended with seven points and seven rebounds.
