Playing in just their second home game of the season, the De Smet Bulldog boys cruised to a 61-25 victory over the Iroquois/Lake Preston Sharks on Thursday, December 21st.
De Smet got out to a big lead in the first quarter and never looked back. They led 30-2 at the end of the first quarter and 39-12 at halftime. The Bulldogs were in front 53-19 at the end of the third quarter and outscored the Sharks 8-6 in the final quarter.
Twelve different players scored in the game. Grant Wilkinson had 12 points and four rebounds. Kadyn Fast added nine points, eight rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Tom Aughenbaugh had seven points and five rebounds. Britt Carlson had six points, four rebounds, and two assists. Melville Deloye had six points, four rebounds, and two steals. George Jensen also had six points. Trace Van Regenmorter ended with five points and four rebounds.
