The De Smet Bulldog track teams took part in the Region 2B meet in Elkton on Thursday, May 18th. The boys team finished third with 111 points. The girls team had a fifth place finish with 72 points.
Jada Burke won the high jump. Ivey Schoenfelder placed second in the discus. Charli McCune finished third in the 400m dash. Aude Currier finished third in the discus. The sprint medley relay team of Julie Anderson, Emma Albrecht, Hazel Luethmers, and Adalyn Gross had a third place finish. Mirra Beck took fourth in both the 100m and 300m hurdles. The 4x200m relay team of Anderson, Albrecht, Alyssa Asleson, and Beck placed fourth. The 4x800m relay team of Gross, Bella Wilkinson, Megan Dylla, and Aubree Blue also finished fourth.
Damon Wilkinson won both the shot put and the discus. Tom Aughenbaugh took first in the triple jump. George Jensen was second in the triple jump. Ganon Henrich was second in the 100m dash and third in the 200m dash. Trace VanRegenmorter was second in the 300m hurdles and third in the 110m hurdles. The 4x100m relay team of Henrich, VanRegenmorter, Kadyn Fast, and Premek Pekara finished second. Fast placed third in the long jump. The 4x200m relay team of Henrich, Britt Carlson, Fast, and VanRegenmorter placed third. Samuel Gigov was fourth in both the shot put and discus.
