The De Smet Bulldog track team hosted the LCC meet on Tuesday, May 7th. The boys team finished fourth with 102 points. The girls team was fifth with 82 points.
Ivey Schoenfelder won the shot put with a throw of 32’10.75″ and third in the discus. Charlie McCune took second in the 300m hurdles and seventh in the 100m hurdles. Mirra Beck was third in the 300m hurdles and fourth in the 100m hurdles. Hazel Luethmers placed fourth in the 200m dash and fifth in the high jump. Adalyn Gross finished fourth in the 400m dash and seventh in the 800m run. Audi Currier took fourth in the discus.
George Jensen won the high jump with a jump of 6’1″ and won the triple jump at 39’6.5″. Grant Wilkinson took second in the shot put and third in the discus. Ganon Henrich was second in the 200m dash and fourth in the 100m dash. Trace VanRegenmorter was third in the 110m hurdles and third in the shot put. Melville Deloye was third in the long jump, fourth in the triple jump, and sixth in the high jump. Slayten Wilkinson finished fourth in the 800m run. Samuel Gigov placed fourth in the discus. Thomas Aughenbaugh was fifth in the triple jump. Payton Botkin took fifth in the shot put and seventh in. the discus.
