The St Mary’s Cardinal track team took part in another indoor meet on Monday, April 6th. This time they traveled to Brookings for the Scott Underwood Invitational on the campus of South Dakota State University.
Reagan Griffin finished fourth in the triple jump with a jump of 9.47m and sixth in the long jump at 4.46m. Madalyn LaVoy placed fifth in the triple jump at 9.40m. Layla Hanson was seventh in the long jump with a jump of 4.44m. Maddyn LeBrun took eighth in the shot put with a throw of 34’0″.
Logan Bauer had a big day. He won the 200m dash in a time of :23.20, placed second in the 400m dash in :53.09, and fourth in the 100m dash at :11.42. Jacob Flemmer finished fifth in the 800m run in a time of 2:06.10. Thomas LaVoy took eighth in the 400m dash with a time of :54.29. The 4x200m relay team of LaVoy, Jake Heinitz, Lincoln LeBrun, and Pano Skliris was fourth in 1:35.88. The 4x400m relay team of Heinitz, Flemmer, Theo Miller, and Skliris took seventh in a time of 3:44.31.
