The St Mary’s Cardinal track team started the 2026 season at the Mt Marty Indoor meet in Yankton on Thursday, March 26th. The Cardinals had a few top-eight finishes at the meet.
Lucy Vargas placed seventh in the 3200m run with a time of 14:41.11. Jacob Flemmer took third in the 800m run with a time of 2:07.73. Logan Bauer was seventh in the 400m dash (:54.86), eighth in the 60m dash (:07.32), and eighth in the 200m dash (:24.14). Cooper Libis took eighth in the 1600m run in a time of 5:11.96.
