The St Mary Cardinal track team had four top 10 finishes at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays in Sioux Falls on Friday, May 2nd and Saturday, May 3rd.
Maddyn LeBrun took fifth place in the javelin with a throw of 117’9″. The boys 4x100m relay team of Thomas LaVoy, Lincoln LeBrun, Jake Heinitz, and Logan Bauer placed fifth in :45.18. The boys 4x400m relay team of LaVoy, Jaxon Baumberger, Heinitz, and Bauer took sixth with a time of 3:35.72. The boys sprint medley relay team of LeBrun, Heinitz, Bauer, and Jacob Flemmer placed 10th in 3:52.59.
LeBrun was also 19th in the discus at 108’9″. The girls 4x200m relay team of Addison Libis, LeBrun, Layla Hanson, and Madala Hanson took 16th in 1:54.12. The girls 4x100m relay team of Libis, Reagan Griffin, L. Hanson, and M. Hanson was 17th in :53.78. The boys 4x800m relay team of Flemmer, Cooper Libis, Kade Lutt, and Matt Henemann placed 11th in a time of 9:11.03. The boys 4x200m relay team of LaVoy, Baumberger, Heinitz, and Bauer was 12th in 1:36.35.
